“Know Thyself.”

Loving yourself enough to love others fully is a lifelong path to uncovering the undiscovered and self-discovery. We are each other’s hearts, no doubt about it. Life isn’t just about working; it is about people, love, play, connections, spirit, growth, and self-discoveries. It’s also about heart ache, heart break, and heart filled love. It’s the sweet and sour of life.

We learn to love and like ourselves through our vulnerabilities which others have a way of showing us even if they don’t know it. Our relationships have a special knack for showing us where we feel most fearful, tender, unsure, fragile, shame, and not so grounded.

When we find out more about ourselves, we ‘open’ to our ‘authentic’ selves, we can take that risk of deep, abiding intimacy with ourselves. We can open more to liking and love the beauty and the beast in us. We can have relationships that are more authentic, after all, most of us are craving that connection. We want to partner; we want to feel and give love.

If we want to experience intimacy and connectedness, we need aspects of ourselves to be uncovered by the people around us repeatedly. It is the way to get to know ourselves better. It is a gift, even though at times it can feel like hell. We pound it out in some relationships until we surrender. It is in the surrender that we discover more of who we are or not. It is in the surrender that we let go, grow ourselves, nurture ourselves and love ourselves just a little bit more, or not. That depends on us.

The beauty and the beast of relationships are staying grounded in who you are and not creating a false sense of self to fit in, or to be loved. No need for that, you are love! Dolby Dharma

The Mantra: My mind is open to the teachings of the heart. I know myself through love.

Find the love you seek, by first finding the love within yourself. Learn to rest in that place within you that is your true home.

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put; I AM and with that I have FAITH in; Myself.
