“when the bough breaks.”
We want it our way, smooth sailing, all the perks that life has to offer that bring us happiness, peace, love; basically the “GQQD Life.”
We also don’t want to have to struggle or work too hard have it, and rightfully so, who wants drama, angst in their lives, nobody likes to fall, after all, it hurts.
But, isn’t this life about the journey, getting to know ourselves more, earning our wings to fly? Probably one we don’t want to embark upon for real, especially when we are in the thick of it feeling all the conflicts.
When we look back at our falls, spills, trauma and dramas, there is an awakening within that shines us from the inside out just a little bit brighter each time. Despite our mistakes, stumbles, and falls, life finds a way to help us build another nest, another opportunity to begin again.
The next time you get thrown out of your comfort zone, know that you will rise higher and much more seasoned. Unknown paths, slips, and falls have a way of removing the fear within us and replacing it with, “I got the.”
The Mantra: No matter how many times I fall out of the nest, I know I can fly even higher.
“To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest. To live fully is to be always in no-man’s-land, to experience each moment as completely new and fresh. To live is to be willing to die over and over again. ”
