Memory Poem~

in the morning,
I journey inward-
looking at who,
I truly am.
I lay my burdens,
at the altar-
for me to come forth,
without holding back.
I come to my morning,
bringing now gifts-
to the altar,
burning sweet desire-
of my soul’s release.
I come in the morning,
with the seeds of redemption-
watered by love,
growing under the sun’s winter face.
your heart folds with mine,
blessings of the Divine-
the birds know of the music,
that the day now sings.
in the winter’s quiet,
I bring me to me now-
dark dawning to light,
I bring myself to the-
mantras of my soul,
gratefulness of being,
for gathering it all in,
and for letting it all go.

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put; I AM and with that I have FAITH in; Myself.
